Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated professional with a robust work ethic to join our team as a Biosciences Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key accounts, specifically targeting universities.

As a Biosciences Account Manager, your primary focus will be on driving sales and cultivating relationships with our esteemed clients in the academic, governmental, and healthcare sectors. This position offers the chance to collaborate with a top-tier team, enhance your sales expertise, and contribute to achieving our ambitious sales objectives.

Your role will be pivotal in expanding our Biosciences portfolio, which includes protein, cell, and molecular biology products, as well as selected laboratory equipment such as endpoint PCR systems, fluorescent microscopes, and flow cytometers.

This position requires a candidate with a proven sales record and a comprehensive technical background, coupled with the ability to understand and address customer challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities proactively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse customer base.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute sales strategies effectively.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts successfully.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals to potential clients.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures in all sales activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (PhD preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in sales, preferably within the life sciences sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for achieving sales goals.
