Role Impact:

Arkos Health is in search of a Scheduling Coordinator. This role is essential in our dynamic office environment, requiring proficiency in managing multiple systems effectively. The Scheduling Coordinator will oversee the scheduling operations within the Quality Department, supporting various administrative tasks under the guidance of the Quality Manager. This position plays a crucial role in facilitating outreach efforts to members and ensuring compliance with quality initiatives and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outreach calls to members, healthcare providers, and professionals to support care initiatives.
  • Review and verify reports from health plans against internal records for accuracy, ensuring proper appointment scheduling.
  • Utilize various systems concurrently to manage member visit schedules, with appointment targets set by the Quality Manager based on operational needs.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Quality team to implement accurate scheduling procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal teams and external clients.
  • Be available for overtime or weekend work as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of HCCs and medical diagnoses is advantageous.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant is preferred.
  • Experience in verifying eligibility and navigating insurance portals is beneficial.
