Key Responsibilities:

The following duties are essential to the role, and additional responsibilities may be assigned:

  • Manage and process patient payments
  • Handle authorizations received via mail and communicate with parents
  • Schedule treatment and follow-up appointments
  • Confirm scheduled treatment appointments
  • Answer incoming calls throughout the day
  • Generate and process No Show Reports
  • Schedule patients from the ASAP List
  • Check patients in and out efficiently
  • Verify patient information on file
  • Confirm insurance eligibility
  • Contact patients who are late for appointments
  • Confirm and schedule observation appointments
  • Maintain the daily sign-in sheet
  • Scan and enter necessary documents into the system
  • Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance
  • Foster effective working relationships with colleagues

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: 6+ months of experience in a healthcare or dental front office setting
  • Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish
