PROJECT COORDINATION SPECIALIST

Job Overview

The primary responsibility of the Project Coordination Specialist is to collaborate with the team on specific assignments and duties as directed by the Superintendent. This role involves working closely with the Project Manager concerning scheduling, safety protocols, and maintaining employee records. A high level of organization, adaptability, and the ability to prioritize tasks while working autonomously are essential for success in this position. Additionally, the capability to inspire and keep team members focused in a positive and supportive manner is crucial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the Superintendent and project management team to enhance productivity.
  • Engage with the entire project team, contributing to the overall success of the project.
  • Organize and oversee schedules to ensure that deadlines are consistently met.
  • Efficiently coordinate efforts within the team and with external consultants.
  • Provide updates to management both verbally and in written form.
  • Perform necessary administrative tasks, including research and communication.
  • Exhibit a continuous commitment to client needs and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an administrative capacity.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in collecting timesheet data and payroll information.
  • Proficient in entering data into payroll and administrative databases and software.
  • Strong attention to detail and a knack for problem-solving.
  • Able to proactively identify and address potential challenges.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A collaborative working style and a team-oriented mindset.
  • A positive and encouraging demeanor.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Highly motivated with a robust work ethic.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and dedicated to the success of the team.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
