Security Access Control Specialist

Position Overview: EnGenius Consulting Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fulfill the role of a Security Access Control Specialist. This position requires a thorough understanding of visitor management protocols and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the organization by managing access control systems and ensuring compliance with security protocols.
  • Assist in processing Visitor Access Requests (VAR) and coordinating with relevant security personnel.
  • Utilize FBI access control databases, including visitor management systems.
  • Conduct necessary verifications and screenings for incoming visitors.
  • Prepare and manage electronic communications as required.
  • Issue identification badges and ensure adherence to security policies.
  • Perform screenings using X-ray machines and metal detectors, completing all required training.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a final Top-Secret personnel security clearance and be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
  • A bachelor’s degree in any field is required, along with three years of relevant security experience, or five years of experience in a security-related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, is essential.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary for providing security briefings and written reports.

Work Environment: This role is primarily office-based, requiring the ability to stand, walk, and perform tasks that involve manual dexterity. The position may involve lifting up to 25 lbs and requires good vision capabilities.
