Position Overview
EnGenius Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fulfill the role of a Security Access Control Specialist. This position requires a deep understanding of visitor management protocols and security procedures.
Key Responsibilities
The Specialist will provide support to our government client, ensuring compliance with security measures. This role necessitates a Top Secret/SCI clearance and the ability to successfully complete a CI Polygraph examination.
Flexibility and Coverage
This position involves covering multiple locations as needed, requiring adaptability in scheduling to maintain security operations. Candidates should be prepared to alternate between early and late shifts based on operational requirements.
Visitor Access Management
Responsibilities include utilizing FBI access control systems, processing Visitor Access Requests (VAR), and coordinating with FBI Security Division personnel. The Specialist will also manage foreign visitor access and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
Training and Equipment Handling
Personnel will be trained in the use of security equipment, including X-ray machines and metal detectors, and must adhere to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess a final Top Secret security clearance and be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access. A bachelor’s degree in any field is required, along with a minimum of three years of relevant security experience or five years in a related field.
Skills Required
Proficiency in software applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe Acrobat is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary for delivering security briefings and preparing written reports.
Work Environment
This role is primarily office-based, with a moderate noise level. The position may require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
