POSITION SUMMARY:


Facilitating the operations of the Countryway Insurance Company by supporting the Membership and Field Services Departments alongside the sales initiatives of the Products Division.


The Sales Specialist role is primarily accountable for:
Enhancing sales within the Products Division through direct engagement with dealers and boosting customer participation. A strong enthusiasm for sales and a commitment to devising innovative solutions for clients is essential.
Promoting products and programs to elevate member engagement and sales performance.
Establishing, training, and providing support to Countryway dealers within designated territories.
Offering insights and assisting the Director/Vice President in the overall management of the products program.
Managing warranty adjustments in accordance with company guidelines.
Suggesting new inventory items.
Educating dealer clients on all products and their applications.
Assisting in the collection of overdue accounts from assigned dealers.
Representing products at industry trade shows and events.
Collaborating with billing personnel to ensure precise invoicing.
Fostering and maintaining positive relationships with members and dealers.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Working collaboratively with other departments and advisory committees within Countryway Insurance Company.
Coordinating displays and exhibits at state and regional events.
Aligning activities with state and county organizations as necessary.
Reviewing and advising on program budgets with the department director.
Availability for evening and weekend events as required, necessitating work outside the office several times each year.
Participating in Products staff meetings and conference calls.
Supporting state meetings as assigned.
Regularly reporting to the Director of the Products Division.
Executing any other duties as assigned by the department head and the Vice President.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Prior experience in sales or marketing.

MINIMUM SKILL QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated experience in leadership development, maintaining organizational structure, and implementing marketing strategies.
Knowledge of the agricultural industry and relevant networks.
High degree of initiative and self-motivation.
Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Strong presentation abilities; comfortable speaking in front of diverse audiences.
Proficient written communication skills and familiarity with MS Office applications.
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and adherence to deadlines.
Capability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Positive demeanor and outstanding leadership qualities.
Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record to meet company vehicle requirements.
Ability to lift 70-80 pounds.
Capacity to collaborate with various interest groups.
Flexibility, resourcefulness, enthusiasm, and a high-energy approach.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Background in tires, batteries, or agricultural products.
Experience in agricultural product sales.
Experience in outside sales.
