RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role of the Sales Support Specialist is vital within our Fitech by Deluxe division, focusing on the support and retention of our valued customers.

  • Develop and implement strategies to retain existing merchants.
  • Handle escalated issues that may arise.
  • Make informed decisions regarding pricing structures, refunds, account closures, early termination fees, and contract renewals.
  • This dynamic team member will engage with business clients through virtual meetings and occasional in-person interactions.
  • Address various concerns including pricing, service quality, equipment orders, training, and contract negotiations.
  • Execute customer service retention initiatives to support our current merchant clientele.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of merchant retention efforts and service-related issues.
  • Analyze merchant statements and provide clarifications as needed.
  • Offer pricing quotes and conduct rate reviews to enhance retention strategies.
  • Ensure the completion and submission of necessary paperwork while coordinating merchant implementation and training.
  • Track and follow up on merchant issues arising from escalations and surveys.
  • Explain industry-related topics such as PCI compliance and fees.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant experience; or an Associate's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Not mandatory)
  • Experience in the banking sector.
