Job Title: Sr Client Outreach Specialist

Join Bank of America's Global Corporate and Investment Bank (GCIB) and Global Markets (GM) lines of business as a Sr Client Outreach Specialist. This role is part of the Know Your Client (KYC) Outreach teams, responsible for meeting periodic refresh and remediation requirements.

Job Description:

The Sr Client Outreach Specialist will work closely with clients, Global Corporate and Investment Bankers, and Global Markets Sales to support the bank's global regulatory and policy requirements. This includes collecting Know Your Client (KYC) documentation, collaborating with Operations and Global Financial Crimes Risk teams, and identifying opportunities to enhance the client experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Outreach to clients requesting and collecting KYC documentation
  • Serve as the key point of contact for clients and internal functions
  • Ensure KYC client portfolios are covered across business and regions, adhering to internal governance routines
  • Monitor and understand the risks and impacts of non-compliance with KYC processes
  • Gather client feedback to improve the bank's processes
  • Raise process issues and improvements to enhance client relationships
  • Partner with colleagues in Banking, Sales, and other groups as needed
  • Review clients for appropriate activity and liaise with Bankers on relationship continuation
  • Support the outreach of periodic refreshes, remediation, and associated programs
  • Ensure timely collection of client required documentation
  • Ensure the voice of the client is heard while adhering to policies, laws, rules, and regulations
  • Ensure performance metrics are met and exceptions are resolved within required timeframes
  • Master customer due diligence (CDD) requirements and guide clients as needed
  • Support the collection of enhanced customer due diligence (ECDD) requirements and guide clients as needed
  • Adhere to bank privacy policies in securing non-public information obtained as part of KYC activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years experience in a client-facing role within the financial services or a related industry
  • Preferred: Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
  • Knowledge of AML CDD policy and standards, industry practices in AML CDD, including legal entities in global jurisdictions
  • Strong client focus, excellent interpersonal skills, and professional demeanor
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills, flexibility, and initiative
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent proficiency using Microsoft office products, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Shift and Hours:

1st shift (United States of America)

40 hours per week

Pay Transparency:

US - NY - New York - ONE BRYANT PARK - BANK OF AMERICA TOWER (NY1100)

Pay range: $90,000 - $150,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education, and skill set

Discretionary incentive eligible
