Senior Director of Development and Partnerships

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Development Officer to join our team at Scott & Crosby Staffing, Inc. as a key member of our senior management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and executing a comprehensive fund development and marketing strategy to drive growth and meet organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Fund Development: Design and execute a multi-faceted development strategy, encompassing events, annual giving initiatives, major gifts, capital campaigns, and legacy/endowment giving.
- Donor Cultivation and Stewardship: Manage all aspects of donor cultivation, solicitation, and recognition, including prospect list creation, monthly activity reporting, and progress updates.
- Grant Management: Collaborate with the Grants Manager, CFO, and Executive Director to ensure grant oversight and compliance.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and manage relationships with major donors, coordinating visits, meetings, and events.
- Digital Fundraising: Develop and implement digital fundraising campaigns and legacy giving programs.
- Revenue Growth: Expand and diversify revenue sources as outlined in the strategic plan, including grants, individual giving, corporate partnerships, and potential future campaigns.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Act as the lead staff liaison to board committees on resource development and communications, aligning strategies with organizational goals.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of demonstrated fund development and communications experience, with supervisory and leadership skills.
- Solid experience and knowledge in grant management and administration.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized, creative, and self-motivated.
- Proficient in DonorPerfect (or equivalent donor software system) and Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to plan and implement activities within policies and procedures, maintain positive working relationships, demonstrate initiative and accountability, manage time effectively, and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
- Extensive experience supervising grants and communications staff.
