About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Procurement Specialist to enhance our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in project management, construction, hospitality, and hotel operations. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of standard operating procedures (SOP) compliance, procurement processes, bid management, and purchase order administration. Relevant purchasing certifications (CPP, CSCP) are advantageous. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable position and will be tasked with overseeing the procurement function within the organization.

This is a hybrid role, requiring office presence 3 days a week and remote work for 2 days. The position arises due to expansion in hotel renovation and construction projects, making it an excellent opportunity for professional growth and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition of goods and services.
  • Manage the bid proposal process, ensuring all documentation is precise and adheres to company policies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure high-quality products and services at competitive rates.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) in all procurement activities.
  • Administer purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with construction and hospitality teams to support hotel renovation initiatives.
  • Leverage your Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPP) and Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) qualifications to enhance procurement strategies.
  • Regularly assess market trends, supplier capabilities, and technological advancements to maintain effective and competitive procurement practices.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including finance and construction, to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement, ideally within the finance, construction, or hospitality sectors.
  • Strong background in project management, bid proposals, and purchase order processes.
  • Experience in hotel renovations is preferred.
  • Certification as a Professional in Supply Management (CPP) or Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement management software.
