Position Title: Marketing Specialist

Department: Banking

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Role Summary:
In this role, you will collaborate with leadership to strategize, organize, and execute marketing and advertising initiatives. You will be responsible for the development, design, and implementation of marketing communications and programs for Midwest Heritage.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility.
  • Generate visual concepts based on project requirements.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects according to campaign specifications.
  • Organize promotional events that elevate brand recognition and support marketing strategies.
  • Maintain marketing briefs and campaign summaries to refine future marketing efforts.
  • Create and oversee marketing materials for various platforms including websites, social media, presentations, newsletters, and customer engagement surveys.

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles with a creative and business-oriented approach.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including social media platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva.
  • Adept at analyzing reports and developing marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage with colleagues and clients in a professional manner.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to devise and implement effective solutions.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related discipline is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in the banking sector is a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva is essential.
Physical and Working Conditions:
  • This role is primarily sedentary/light, requiring prolonged periods of sitting.
  • Visual requirements include the ability to see details at close range, with or without correction.
  • Must be capable of performing physical activities such as sitting for extended periods, verbal communication, auditory tasks, and repetitive motions.
Work Environment:
  • Typically performed in an office setting characterized by a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Regularly faces deadlines and manages multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Minimal travel is required.
Equipment Utilized:
Computer (PC with Microsoft Office applications), telephone, calculator, copier, fax machine, and printer.
