Job Overview

Resource Innovations is in search of a Manager of Multifamily Energy Efficiency Initiatives to enhance our expanding government services team. This role will focus on the effective launch and management of programs under the IRA Inflation Reduction Act. As the Manager of Multifamily Energy Efficiency, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, leading a team dedicated to advancing energy efficiency initiatives in multifamily settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the initiation and execution of programs, including the formulation of work plans to achieve objectives, aligning team responsibilities, and ensuring precise forecasting for both internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Successfully deliver large-scale, budget-intensive multifamily energy efficiency programs to utility clients in accordance with contractual obligations and budgetary constraints.
  • Identify, define, and track program deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Continuously evaluate project progress against goals and devise innovative solutions to emerging challenges and market changes.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a dynamic team by establishing and reviewing performance standards and objectives.
  • Facilitate outreach efforts through community engagement, program presentations, and relationship development.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with subcontractors, community organizations, and industry stakeholders.
  • Manage client expectations and satisfaction, addressing and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with key internal departments such as IT, Marketing, Finance, and HR to enhance program efficiencies.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

  • Must reside in the greater Columbus, OH or Indianapolis, IN area.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, energy, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • At least 6 years of experience in energy efficiency or a related field is required, with a preference for multifamily or Commercial & Industrial (C&I) program experience.
  • Previous management experience, including leading technical teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing project scopes, budgets, and plans.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced energy-related certifications, such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
  • A master's degree or MBA.
  • Experience managing energy efficiency or weatherization programs focused on multifamily housing.
