Key Responsibilities

The Boiler Service Estimator plays a vital role in ensuring quality, timely delivery, and growth in alignment with Boiler Service objectives. This position is essential for promoting service agreement expansion and providing accurate repair estimates that enhance turnaround times, customer uptime, and revenue growth. Additionally, this role may involve leading or assisting in parts research and vendor selection.

Qualifications We Seek:

  • High School Diploma required, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in the construction or HVAC sector is essential, particularly with boilers, burners, combustion controls, and psychometrics, including large repair project management.
  • Extensive knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems, and other related subsystems.
  • Proficient understanding of HVAC&R theory, along with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical layouts, and blueprints is necessary.
  • Must be self-motivated and an independent thinker.
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changes is essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines is required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software and proficiency with handheld devices, such as smartphones and tablets.
  • Strong communication skills to discuss inspection and service findings with customers and colleagues.
