Job Overview

Adecco Search is currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to enhance our client's team. This position is essential for a leading Contract Manufacturer, focusing on effective procurement and cost estimation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate precise and timely cost assessments for projects based on detailed specifications and relevant documentation.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to collect necessary data for accurate estimations.
  • Evaluate proposals and bids to identify the best pricing and cost efficiency.
  • Adjust estimates as required throughout the project duration.
  • Source, negotiate, and acquire materials, equipment, and services essential for project execution and operational needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to guarantee prompt delivery of high-quality materials at competitive rates.
  • Oversee inventory levels and collaborate with stakeholders to predict demand and manage procurement timelines.
  • Monitor and analyze project expenditures to uncover cost-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews and present reports to management regarding cost discrepancies and budget forecasts.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Procurement Specialist or Estimator within the Manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with estimating software/tools and ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
