Waterbury Center, Vermont, United States Ivy Computer Full time
Position Overview

Salary: Starting at $27 per hour, commensurate with experience.

If you have a knack for meticulous organization, possess an eagle eye for budget tracking, and derive satisfaction from identifying even the smallest discrepancies in extensive spreadsheets, you might be the perfect fit for our team. We are currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our dynamic organization.

In this position, you will collaborate with our team to perform monthly bank statement reconciliations, oversee general ledger entries, and manage accounts receivable transactions. Given our multi-state operations, you will also handle certain tax obligations and utilize our proprietary software for payroll processing during the absence of our current bookkeeper.

Imagine a relaxed office environment where positivity flows as freely as coffee, and your innovative ideas are encouraged. Our team consists of happy, well-rounded individuals who believe in supporting one another and delivering outstanding service to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting and bookkeeping, experience with payroll and tax processes, and be proficient in Excel. However, being a team player is equally important, as we believe in collective success.

You will typically work in the office from Monday to Thursday, with optional remote work available on Fridays.

Benefits: We offer comprehensive medical insurance, a Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) for out-of-pocket expenses, dental and vision coverage, generous paid time off, a 401(k) plan with company matching, life and disability insurance, a bonus program, and tuition reimbursement. Additionally, our office is pet-friendly, and we provide complimentary car detailing services.

Embrace Your Authentic Self We believe that collaboration among team members with diverse backgrounds and perspectives leads to richer insights and actions that better serve our customers, employees, and community. Our commitment is to foster an inclusive environment, celebrate diversity, and uphold mutual respect. We are dedicated to providing equal employment opportunities regardless of your background.

If you are interested in becoming part of our team, we encourage you to submit a cover letter and resume. We value authenticity and would love to hear about aspects of your experience that may not fit neatly on a traditional resume.
