Event Team Member

About the Role

The Event Team Member is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors to our sports complex.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent guest service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate and execute events, parties, and activities, ensuring all details are executed as planned.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, including party reservations, monies collected, waivers, and event scores.
  • Operate multi-line phones, register guests for leagues and programs, and provide information on facility programs.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure seamless event execution and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic understanding of sports and ability to learn and adapt to new information.

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods, and squat, stoop, or bend.
  • Will be required to operate a computer and use various software applications.
