This Opportunity

WSP is currently launching a search for a Field/Office Engineer for our operations.

Engage in projects with our Wisconsin Construction Services Team and contribute to a growing organization that fulfills our client's goals and addresses their challenges.

Your Impact


The Field/Office Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring daily compliance with project plans and specifications on construction initiatives while maintaining documentation to support quality standards, payment processes, and project acceptance.

Interpret and analyze project plans and contractual documents effectively.


Identify potential issues within contract documents and propose solutions or escalate them to the Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Coordinator as necessary.


Act as a liaison to facilitate communication and information exchange among the project manager, engineering team, management, contractors, and vendors.

Coordinate all internal and external communications related to the project.


Assist in reviewing the contractor's project schedule and estimating resource and material needs; maintain relevant planning and scheduling updates throughout the project lifecycle.


Collaborate closely with project administrators and the project manager to prepare reports detailing project costs, progress, risks, and opportunities for senior management review.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

- Entry Level with 0 to 1 year of experience.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing and oral presentation.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential.

- Must be eligible to work in the United States immediately.

- Demonstrate responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company resources and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies.

- Proven commitment to workplace safety and compliance with WSP's health, safety, and drug/alcohol policies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with WisDOT, County, and Local Municipality policies and procedures is preferred but not mandatory.

- Possession of WisDOT certifications in PCC, Aggregate, and Grading Technician is preferred but not required.

- Must successfully complete and pass WSP's Motor Vehicle screening.
