Job Overview

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of facility projects, ensuring adherence to budgetary, technical, and scheduling constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the management of facility initiatives, exercising authority over costs, technical specifications, and timelines.
  • Identify, generate, and analyze technical requirements, translating them effectively into design specifications.
  • Provide technical oversight for the design, planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of projects related to Weapons System Infrastructure & Capabilities, including significant facility modifications and construction projects.
  • Develop and review comprehensive engineering data packages, including requirement documents, drawings, specifications, and testing criteria.
  • Plan and conduct engineering program reviews, ensuring product designs comply with engineering principles and organizational standards.
  • Evaluate and approve proposal inquiries, design modifications, and specification documents.
  • Coordinate and engage in activities focused on technical development, scheduling, and resolution of engineering design and testing challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure production requirements are met with minimal schedule disruptions.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with industrial HVAC systems and components.
  • Must possess an Interim Secret clearance prior to starting and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Desired Skills
  • Experience in Project Management and/or Construction Management within commercial, industrial, or government facilities.
  • Proven track record in the design, management, and execution of facility projects from inception to completion.
  • Ability to generate and analyze technical requirements and translate them into actionable designs.
  • Experience facilitating design reviews with a solid understanding of adjudication and verification processes.
  • Familiarity with the Military Construction (MILCON) process.
  • Professional registration or licensure as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Experience in missile defense programs, working directly with customers to resolve technical issues.
  • Understanding of the Architecture & Engineering (A&E) design process and oversight of engineering design packages.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing facility engineering products, including Statements of Work and construction cost estimates.
  • General knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as Unified Facility Criteria and ASHRAE.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute engineering projects from start to finish.
  • Experience in creating work products for design, inspection, and testing activities.
  • Ability to integrate systems or equipment into existing processes or spaces.
  • Proven capability to coordinate and resolve technical issues across multiple teams and customers.
