Job Overview

Command Holdings is seeking experienced Civil Engineers to join our team in supporting various projects for the Navy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering professional civil engineering solutions, services, and consultations for the planning, design, construction, and upkeep of facilities for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other associated commands.
  • Conducting design evaluations and calculations for civil engineering projects, as well as preparing comprehensive working drawings, cost comparisons, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and project specifications across a diverse range of facility types.
  • Executing site investigations to gather relevant data and refine project scope through inspections and discussions with sponsoring entities.
  • Creating intricate designs and analyses using advanced civil engineering software tools.
  • Assessing submissions for completeness, functionality, sound engineering practices, and adherence to Department of Defense (DoD) and NAVFAC standards, along with other applicable regulations.
  • Managing technical aspects of designs, coordinating with other engineers and architects on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Providing post-construction services, including reviewing contractor submissions to ensure compliance with contract specifications.

This role is contingent upon contract award. Multiple positions may be filled from this listing.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000

Work Environment:

  • Moderate to loud noise levels typical of an office setting with computers and occasional exposure to construction sites.
  • Ability to remain seated at a computer for extended periods.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing job duties, employees are expected to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for computer operation is required.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel (11-20%).

Command Holdings is a tribally-owned firm dedicated to providing management consulting services to U.S. government agencies.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design, analysis, and consulting, including:
    • Experience in drafting conceptual plans for future designs.
    • Experience in analyzing facilities to produce planning documents.
    • Identifying strengths and weaknesses in projects to support facility programming and long-term planning.
    • Providing technical solutions for unexpected construction challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and client-focused approach.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Registered Professional Engineer.
  • Experience working with the U.S. Navy or similar Department of Defense entities.
