Ideal Candidate:
We are in search of a driven and enthusiastic Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer to become part of our innovative team in New Albany, IN. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to advance their careers in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site assessments and soil testing to evaluate geotechnical conditions.
  • Assist in drafting geotechnical reports and design recommendations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective project execution.
  • Perform geotechnical analyses utilizing industry-standard software.
  • Monitor construction sites to ensure compliance with geotechnical specifications.
  • Engage in fieldwork, including soil sampling and testing.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline, or demonstrate the ability to obtain one within six months. Candidates with 0-2 years of professional experience are encouraged to apply. Having or pursuing an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, is essential, along with the capacity to learn commercial software applications.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be prepared to meet the physical demands of this role, which includes:
  • Working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Regularly lifting and transporting 40-50 lbs of field/laboratory samples and equipment.
  • Traveling for assignments as necessary.
  • Occasionally working outside of standard business hours.
