Position Overview:

In the capacity of a Senior Geotechnical Project Leader, you will oversee and direct geotechnical engineering initiatives from conception through to completion, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality benchmarks, and project timelines. Your responsibilities will include delivering technical insights in geotechnical evaluation, design, and execution, while also acting as a client liaison to nurture strong partnerships and ensure profitable project delivery. By collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders, you will enhance project results and improve departmental efficiency. Furthermore, you will mentor and develop a geotechnical team, supervising analysis, design, reporting, and site inspections. Your efforts will contribute to ongoing improvements and efficiency gains within our projects and departments, aligning with client goals and fostering robust relationships across the organization.

Candidate Profile:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geological, Mining, or Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering
  • 5+ years in a Project Management capacity is advantageous
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
  • Proven business development capabilities
  • Willingness to assist in the field and conduct site assessments as necessary
