Candidate Profile:

Key Responsibilities:
As a Geotechnical Staff Engineer, your daily tasks will include:
1. Conducting site investigations and performing soil tests to evaluate geotechnical conditions.
2. Assisting in the creation of geotechnical reports and design recommendations.
3. Collaborating with project teams to ensure effective project execution.
4. Performing geotechnical analyses utilizing industry-standard software.
5. Monitoring construction sites to ensure compliance with geotechnical specifications.
6. Participating in fieldwork, including soil sampling and testing.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline, or the ability to obtain one within six months.
- 0-2+ years of relevant professional experience.
- An interest in obtaining EIT certification (preferred).
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, with a willingness to learn commercial software.

Physical Requirements:
The candidate must be prepared to meet the physical demands of this role, which include:
- Working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Regularly lifting and carrying 40-50 lbs (field/laboratory samples and equipment).
- Traveling for assignments as necessary.
- Occasionally working outside of standard business hours.
