Executive Chef

At Oak View Group, we are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a team of 35 full-time and part-time culinary employees, with a focus on delivering exceptional food quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of culinary employees, including hiring, training, and mentoring.
- Ensure event staff are aware of workplace expectations and provide ongoing assistance and training.
- Control labor costs through effective scheduling and cross-training of employees.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation.
- Coordinate the storage, maintenance, and repair of kitchen equipment.
- Develop and implement menus, recipes, and production plans to meet business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and employment regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of kitchen management experience in a full-service restaurant or events venue.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting projected costs and delivering exceptional food quality.
- Professional appearance and presentation required.
- Knowledge of computer software, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Current Food Handler's card and alcohol service permit (if required by state or local government).
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary range of $85,000 to $95,000 per year.
