Cook for My Three Sons of Charleston LLC in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Key responsibilities include preparing, seasoning, and cooking dishes, such as soups, meats, vegetables, or desserts. Ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices by inspecting and cleaning food preparation areas or serving areas. Maintain food freshness by checking quality, rotating stock, and regulating oven temperatures. Collaborate with supervisory staff to plan menus, considering factors like costs and special event needs. Coordinate and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, season, and cook dishes according to recipes or personal judgment.
  • Inspect and clean food preparation areas or serving areas.
  • Maintain food freshness by checking quality, rotating stock, and regulating oven temperatures.
  • Collaborate with supervisory staff to plan menus.
  • Coordinate and supervise kitchen staff.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months to one year of related experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Food handler's certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
