Mallard Creek Surgery is seeking a highly skilled and organized Front Office Coordinator to join our team at our Matthews Ambulatory Surgery Center. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will provide exceptional support to our surgeons, patients, and staff, ensuring seamless operations and excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide a wide range of administrative and secretarial support to our surgeons, including scheduling procedures, managing medical records, and preparing correspondence.
- Communication Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between our surgery center, referring physicians, OrthoCarolina Administration, and other departments within the organization.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Anticipate and meet the needs of our facility, patients, and physicians by gathering related records, reports, and correspondence.
- Vendor and Contract Management: Handle various matters involving interaction with vendors, contract agencies, practice managers, surgery schedulers, consultants, and other staff members.
- Operational Support: Work closely with the ASC Administrator to ensure the efficient and timely flow of overall operations and promote the facility's goals.
- Correspondence and Mail: Prepare and process correspondence and mail, including composing and disseminating correspondence to appropriate individuals.
- Meeting Support: Assist in preparing agendas, meeting materials, and notes, including attendance within meetings as requested by the ASC Administrator.
- Education: High school diploma; associate or bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of training and education.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of medical office experience and knowledge of current medical terminology; three to five years of executive-level assistance experience preferred.
