Industrial Sales Representative Opportunity

Interlake Mecalux, a leading company in the global warehousing systems market, is seeking an experienced Industrial Sales Representative to join our sales team. As a remote worker based in Nashville, TN, you will be responsible for selling racking and storage solutions within Tennessee, with a focus on the Nashville area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with racking and material handling dealers, distributors, systems integrators, and end-users through training and product updates.
  • Visit customers in the territory to strengthen relationships, follow up on leads, and close business.
  • Conduct sales presentations, manage sales order negotiations, and oversee the execution of sales orders.
  • Collaborate with internal technical resources to create quotes for customers.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers, generate additional sales, and resolve problems.
  • Develop weekly and monthly sales plans, including prospecting activities and forecasts.
  • Ensure customer project completion through coordination with engineering, manufacturing, installation, and customer service teams.
  • Update daily the lead, quote, and order activity in our CRM software, CIM.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in the Material Handling Industry.
  • At least one year of experience in Industrial Sales.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and previous experience using a CRM software.
  • Must live within one hour of Nashville, TN.
  • Must have an excellent driving record and own a car with auto liability coverage limits of $100,000 per person, $300,000 per accident in bodily injury liability, and $100,000 per accident in property damage liability.
  • Willingness for business travel in Tennessee visiting customers 2-4 days per week.
