ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Process Improvement and Project Management:
  • Document talent processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in the implementation of new talent acquisition initiatives and systems.
  • Prepare project documentation, including timelines, status updates, and evaluations post-project.
  • Collect feedback from employees and managers to pinpoint areas for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for departmental process enhancements and serve as a resource for leaders across various functions.
  • Data Auditing and Visualization:
  • Utilize tools such as Excel or Power BI to create visual representations of talent data.
  • Analyze data to uncover patterns, trends, and improvement areas.
  • Generate reports that emphasize key findings and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with hiring teams to apply data-driven enhancements.
  • Learning and Development:
  • Complete 10 hours of training related to Workday and other systems.
  • Engage in 10 hours of job shadowing with internal and cross-departmental associates.
  • Act as Tier 1 Support analyst for internal inquiries and troubleshooting.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties, analyses, reports, and presentations as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Management Information Systems, Data Science, Human Resources, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a business group
  • Strong analytical skills
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to work onsite at the Indianapolis Headquarters, unless otherwise directed by the hiring manager
  • Availability to work up to 40 hours per week, with a minimum of 20 hours for spring and fall interns
  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Able to read and interpret technical, regulatory, and contractual documentation. Able to maintain confidentiality.

Makes day-to-day decisions that support strategic direction. Decisions often require thoughtful consideration without established precedents or procedures. Decisions tend to be short-term and usually involve moderate costs. Able to work independently or as part of a team to achieve results.
