Human Resources Generalist - Onsite Role
The HR Generalist plays a pivotal role in fostering organizational development, employee engagement, and support for designated business units while also collaborating with HR colleagues and leadership. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of how to align human resources with Allegion's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for non-exempt positions, assist with exempt recruitment, and facilitate onboarding for new hires.
- Establish and nurture relationships with local educational institutions and community organizations to build a robust talent pipeline.
- Collaborate with teams to devise proactive solutions that support business strategies and cultivate productive working relationships.
- Oversee HR policy processes for assigned groups, including but not limited to Service Awards, Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Referrals.
- Guide employees and leaders in utilizing HR systems effectively.
- Lead and assist with employee-facing processes such as Payroll, Leave of Absence, and Benefits.
- Implement engagement strategies through coaching for both employees and leaders.
- Develop and maintain reports to ensure data integrity and support client groups.
- Identify and recommend improvements to HR processes.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources, encompassing talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in data management and analysis.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency.
- Knowledge of employment law and best practices in HR.
