Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Human Resources Director to lead our HR team. This role is critical in building and maintaining a high-performing, engaged workforce. The ideal candidate will be an expert in HR best practices, have experience in fast-paced environments, and possess the ability to foster a positive workplace culture.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the HR team.
  • Ensure HR initiatives support the organization's goals and promote a positive culture.
Talent Acquisition & Management
  • Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the attraction of top talent.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs.
  • Create and manage talent development programs to support employee growth.
Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Foster a positive work environment and culture.
  • Address and resolve employee issues and conflicts.
  • Develop and implement engagement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction.
Performance Management
  • Oversee performance appraisal processes.
  • Implement strategies for continuous performance improvement.
  • Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
Compliance & Policies
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance on HR legal issues.
Change Management
  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives.
  • Ensure effective communication and implementation of changes.
  • Develop strategies to manage resistance and promote acceptance.
HR Operations
  • Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and compensation.
  • Utilize HR analytics to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Continuously improve HR processes and systems.
Health & Safety
  • Oversee workplace health and safety programs in collaboration with the Safety Officer.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to pivot quickly and manage multiple priorities.
