KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

  • Promptly and efficiently execute requests and orders.
  • Capable of covering all kitchen positions and assisting team members as necessary.
  • Oversee the preparation of all menu offerings.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of workplace safety and emergency protocols.
  • Ensure a seamless kitchen operation by effectively expediting orders.
  • Adhere to standard recipe specifications and presentation guidelines.
  • Monitor refrigeration units and kitchen inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels.
  • Collaborate with the Events Department to stay informed on menu trends.
  • Verify reservations and specials for service, ensuring clear communication with the team.
  • Design and implement daily specials to enhance the dining experience.
  • Supervise kitchen personnel to ensure tasks are performed to established standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and uphold food quality standards consistently.
  • Participate in regular meetings and engage actively in kitchen operations.
  • Assist with daily ordering of items and develop weekly staff schedules.
  • Inspire and motivate kitchen team members to excel in their roles.

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Regularly review labor and food cost reports to remain within budgetary constraints.
  • Analyze profit and loss statements, addressing any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure proper authorization for any overtime hours worked.
