Position Overview

As the Culinary Operations Manager, you will serve as the primary support to the Executive Chef, overseeing all culinary activities in their absence. This role requires comprehensive training in all facets of Food and Beverage operations, ensuring the seamless management of the kitchen and dining services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly manage daily food preparation across all hotel dining venues, including staff and vendor coordination.
  • Assist in developing and promoting the Food and Beverage department's vision, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality standards.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and daily management of culinary personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with local health regulations, corporate standards, and federal guidelines.
  • Oversee food preparation operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Contribute to menu creation, recipe development, and implementation timelines.
  • Support the Executive Chef in marketing and sales initiatives for Food and Beverage services.
  • Manage financial aspects including budgeting, inventory, and payroll in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
  • Monitor food quality and freshness, adhering to established recipes and portion control.
  • Analyze guest feedback to enhance service quality and satisfaction.
  • Promote a respectful and collaborative work environment among team members.
  • Mentor culinary staff for professional growth and career advancement.
