Position Overview:

The Senior Vice President of Private Banking at NexBank is tasked with delivering tailored lending solutions to ultra-high net worth clients. This role requires a collaborative and confident individual who is dedicated to providing an exceptional client experience. The SVP will manage client relationships, evaluating their borrowing needs and treasury management strategies. An ideal candidate embodies an entrepreneurial spirit and consistently seeks to excel within the Bank's culture of quality over quantity. This position reports directly to the SVP, Head of Commercial Lending.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture client relationships through personalized service, building trust, and understanding client requirements to propose innovative lending solutions that enhance the client experience.
  • Drive business growth by identifying and securing new lending and deposit opportunities from both existing and prospective clients.
  • Facilitate cross-business opportunities, such as deposit growth alongside lending activities.
  • Comply with all risk management policies, regulatory standards, and security protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated sales success and strong business insight, with a solid understanding of credit lending and banking principles.
  • Proven ability to meet a $50MM deposit target within a two-year timeframe.
  • Established community presence with a robust network of industry referral sources.
  • Dynamic communicator capable of engaging effectively across various organizational levels and with external stakeholders.
  • High level of discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Able to thrive in an independent, entrepreneurial, and somewhat unstructured environment, with strong multitasking and prioritization skills.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Private Banking or Financial Services.
  • Experience in lending is essential.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is preferred.
