Position Overview:

The Senior Vice President of Wealth Management at NexBank is tasked with delivering bespoke lending solutions to ultra-high-net-worth clients. This role demands a collaborative, confident, and driven individual committed to providing an exceptional client experience. The SVP will cultivate client relationships, evaluate their borrowing and treasury management needs, and contribute to the Bank's ethos of "fewer, better" by embracing an entrepreneurial spirit. This position reports directly to the SVP, Head of Commercial Lending.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture client relationships through personalized service, fostering trust and understanding client needs to create innovative lending solutions while ensuring a seamless lending experience.
  • Drive business growth by identifying and securing new lending and deposit opportunities, leveraging both existing client relationships and new client outreach.
  • Facilitate cross-business opportunities, such as deposit growth in conjunction with lending activities.
  • Comply rigorously with all risk management policies, regulatory standards, and security protocols.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated sales success and strong business insight, with a solid understanding of credit lending and banking principles.
  • Proven ability to achieve a $50MM deposit goal within a two-year timeframe.
  • Established community presence with a robust network of industry referral sources.
  • Dynamic professional capable of clear and concise communication across various levels and with external stakeholders.
  • Exhibit a high degree of discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to excel in an independent, entrepreneurial, and somewhat unstructured environment, with strong multitasking and prioritization skills, and a sense of urgency in follow-through.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Private Banking or Financial Services.
  • Experience in lending is essential.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is advantageous.
