Position Overview:

The Senior Vice President, Private Banker at NexBank is responsible for delivering tailored lending solutions to ultra-high-net-worth clients. This role requires a collaborative, confident, and motivated individual dedicated to providing an exceptional client experience. The SVP will manage client relationships, evaluate their borrowing needs, and oversee treasury management services. An ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously strive for excellence within the Bank's culture of "fewer, better." This position reports directly to the SVP, Head of Commercial Lending.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain client relationships through personalized service, fostering trust and understanding client needs to create innovative lending solutions.
  • Drive business growth by identifying and securing new lending and deposit opportunities from both existing and prospective clients.
  • Facilitate cross-business initiatives, such as deposit acquisition in conjunction with lending activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all risk management policies, regulatory standards, and security protocols.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated sales success and strong business insight, with a solid understanding of credit lending and banking principles.
  • Proven ability to achieve a $50MM deposit goal within a two-year timeframe.
  • Established community presence with a robust network of industry referral sources.
  • Dynamic communicator capable of articulating ideas clearly across various levels and with external stakeholders.
  • High degree of discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Able to excel in an independent, entrepreneurial environment, effectively managing multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Private Banking or Financial Services.
  • Experience in lending is essential.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is a plus.
