Position Overview:

The Senior Vice President of Private Banking at NexBank is responsible for providing bespoke lending solutions to ultra-high-net-worth clients. This role requires a collaborative, confident individual who is dedicated to delivering an exceptional client experience. The SVP will manage client relationships, evaluating their borrowing and treasury management needs. An ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to excel within the Bank's culture of 'fewer, better.' This position reports directly to the SVP, Head of Commercial Lending.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain client relationships through personalized service, fostering trust, and actively listening to understand client requirements to devise innovative lending solutions.
  • Drive business outcomes by identifying and securing new lending and deposit opportunities from both existing and prospective clients.
  • Facilitate cross-business opportunities, including deposit acquisition alongside lending relationships.
  • Comply with all risk management policies, regulatory standards, and security protocols.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated sales success and strong business insight, with experience or a solid understanding of credit lending and banking principles.
  • Proven ability to meet a $50MM deposit goal within a two-year timeframe.
  • Established community presence with a robust network of industry referral sources.
  • Dynamic communicator capable of conveying information clearly and effectively across various levels and with external stakeholders.
  • Exhibit a high degree of discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to thrive in an independent, entrepreneurial, and somewhat unstructured environment, with strong multitasking and prioritization skills.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Private Banking or Financial Services.
  • Experience in lending is essential.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is advantageous.
