Position Summary

The HRIS Manager will oversee and maintain the functionality of the organization's HRIS applications and modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert, ensuring optimal performance of Human Resources systems, including installation, customization, development, maintenance, testing, and upgrades.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to HRIS users and administrators.
  • Educate stakeholders on enhancement opportunities and process improvements through system updates; recommend and implement solutions.
  • Manage user permissions, access, personalization, and system settings.
  • Develop custom functions and documentation, including automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
  • Translate compliance practices and company policies into technical requirements, employing creative problem-solving for technical challenges.
  • Compile complex data reports, audits, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR personnel.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
  • Support and consult on HRIS integration with other enterprise systems.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
  • Educate and mentor members of the Cresco Labs HRIS team.
  • Stay informed about trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical support abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software; advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Comprehensive understanding of information systems, with a strong technical grasp of at least one commercial HRIS product; payroll administration experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Kronos Workforce Ready is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is highly desirable.
