Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily administrative support to the People department, including maintaining employee records, processing documentation, and addressing routine inquiries.
  • Facilitate and coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, covering orientation, completion of paperwork, and introduction to company policies and benefits.
  • Assist in managing employee benefits programs within the HRIS (Namely), including enrollment, modifications, and responding to employee inquiries.
  • Prepare and manage payroll-related documentation, ensuring precision and punctuality in payroll submissions.
  • Maintain comprehensive and current employee records, encompassing personal details, job history, and performance assessments.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable employment laws and assist in the preparation of People reports and audits.
  • Help coordinate and schedule employee training sessions, workshops, and professional development initiatives.
  • Organize and support company culture and engagement activities, such as employee recognition programs, team-building events, and wellness initiatives.
  • Input and update employee information in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Namely, and generate reports as necessary.
  • Manage the exit process for departing employees, including conducting exit interviews, processing terminations, and ensuring the return of company property.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience in HR.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a people function or administrative support role, ideally within a corporate environment.
  • Experience in a start-up or growth-oriented company is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the HRIS system, Namely, is advantageous.
  • Experience in a globally operating company is a plus.
  • Strong organizational abilities to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suites, with a willingness to learn new software and HR tools.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in managing sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process enhancement.
  • Customer-service orientation, demonstrating a strong commitment to a positive employee experience.
  • Experience in benefits administration and payroll processing is highly desirable.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment, particularly when addressing complex or sensitive employee matters.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to build effective working relationships across departments.
  • Familiarity with onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting new hire orientations and exit interviews.
