Housing Operations Administrative Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the Director of Housing & Residence Life, the successful candidate will:
- Provide comprehensive operational and administrative assistance to the department.
- Oversee front desk operations, ensuring effective triage of activities, greeting visitors, and directing complex inquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Facilitate timely and consistent communication on behalf of the Office.
- Organize and manage appointments for Housing & Residence Life staff members.
- Maintain accurate records, including student housing files, judicial documentation, and time sheets.
- Process financial documents such as purchase orders and reimbursements in conjunction with the Finance department.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to students, families, and guests at the Housing & Residence Life office.
- Manage housing processes for international student groups.
- Coordinate Late Stay, Early Arrival, Break Housing, and Summer Housing logistics.
- Handle Overnight Guest pass requests efficiently.
- Collaborate regularly with Facilities, Operations, Campus Events, and Campus Security.
- Engage with external vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with departmental projects and initiatives as directed by the Director.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the Director.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Support for the Dean of Students Office:
- Evaluate health records from primary care providers to ensure compliance with immunization requirements.
- Complete necessary city and state reports regarding immunization records.
- Assist the Dean of Students with the student health insurance waiver and enrollment process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience in residence life, housing operations, or student affairs is advantageous, particularly with college students.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment.
- Strong communication, computer, and customer service skills are essential.
Compensation and Benefits:
The hourly wage is $30.60.
