Federal Civilian Growth Strategist

Thoughtworks is seeking a seasoned Business Development Executive to drive growth in our Federal Civilian Practice. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development, with a strong network of relationships across the Federal Civilian client community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and execute business development strategies to grow our Federal Civilian portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of approximately $50M in opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Solution Leads/Architects to develop technical solutions and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Work with marketing to develop thought leadership and campaigns to advance business development objectives.
  • Lead the development of RFx responses and proposals, working closely with the Head of Growth and Account Teams.
  • Represent Thoughtworks in the business community at industry and client events.
Requirements
  • Strong network of relationships across the Federal Civilian client community.
  • Technology and consulting acumen, with the ability to translate into business value.
  • Customer value orientation, with a focus on delivering results for clients.
  • Proven record of success driving complex sales through a disciplined, collaborative, and transparent sales process.
  • Experience engaging with C-level stakeholders at the business and technology level.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, with the ability to rally teams around necessary activities.
