IT Asset Management Coordinator

We are recruiting an IT professional with a passion for collaboration and innovation to join our team at Harvard University Information Technology (HUIT). As an IT Asset Management Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in delivering service and technological solutions in support of teaching, learning, research, and administration.
Job DescriptionThe IT Asset Management Coordinator will be responsible for managing the life cycle of computer assets, from procurement to disposal. This includes advising faculty or staff on computer selection, scheduling individual deployments, preparing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
You will also work closely with customers to determine asset reporting needs, create reports, review asset trends, and assist in managing inventory and asset tracking. Additionally, you will track purchased and leased assets, complete asset audits, and participate in measuring performance and capturing lessons learned to continuously improve the deployment project and process.
Administrative DutiesIn this role, you will organize and implement administrative systems and procedures, providing support duties as needed. You will gather and maintain data, prepare reports and spreadsheets, compose correspondence, and edit materials using various computer software.
As a key member of our team, you will contribute to unit goals by accomplishing related duties as required. Your strong communication skills and attention to detail will enable you to provide excellent customer service and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Harvard University offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
