About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned project manager to join our growing team and contribute to making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. You will be responsible for providing project management support for multiple patient advocacy activities, including patient advisory boards, publications, podcasts, and outreach events.

As a key member of our patient advocacy team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate events, manage vendor relationships, and develop strategic plans to drive impact. Your expertise in project management, combined with your passion for patient advocacy, will make you an invaluable asset to our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in project management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $110,000 - $130,000 per year, based on location and experience. This estimate includes both base salary and performance-based incentives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project management support for patient advocacy activities, including coordination with Agios Compliance and vendor management.
  • Coordinate with corporate communications to support internal and external communications around disease awareness days/months and other patient-oriented events.
  • Manage the execution of patient advocacy conference plans, including obtaining compliance approval for related materials.
  • Develop and maintain a master calendar of critical patient advocacy conferences.
  • Support management of patient speakers at internal events.
  • Oversee internal processes that enable efficient and compliant conduct of patient advocacy and engagement activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-7 years' work experience in project management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience working in patient advocacy is desired but not essential.
