POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Electrical Engineer will report directly to the Director of Electrical Engineering.

As a key member of our Engineering Team based in Austin, TX, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional engineering solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with project teams to provide critical insights across various construction types.
  • Conducting site surveys and liaising with utility providers for assessments related to renovations or new constructions.
  • Designing comprehensive electrical systems, including power distribution and lighting, while ensuring familiarity with fire alarm and low voltage systems.
  • Coordinating the preparation of construction documents for projects of varying scales.
  • Reviewing construction administration items and conducting site observations throughout the construction phase.
  • Understanding and applying relevant codes, standards, and guidelines in building design.
  • Utilizing software tools for electrical load calculations, short circuit analysis, and lighting design.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members to foster their professional growth.
  • Developing innovative solutions to electrical system challenges through multi-disciplinary collaboration.

We are looking for passionate, self-motivated individuals who possess:
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
