DSI Systems Inc. is actively seeking a Field Sales Advocate. In this role, you will represent a major telecommunications provider in National Retail. Your responsibilities will include training, coaching, mentoring, merchandising, and providing sales support within your designated area. You will become the expert and primary resource for all field-related inquiries concerning wireless and internet services.

To facilitate the growth of our business, effective communication that conveys our value proposition is essential. The ideal candidate will quickly adapt to our vibrant environment, mastering our products and mission. We expect you to hit the ground running, cultivate strong relationships, and drive sales in your territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly visit assigned retail locations within your territory
  • Train retail associates on product offerings
  • Provide guidance on effective sales techniques
  • Engage in side-by-side selling with retail partners
  • Share up-to-date information regarding special promotions
  • Deliver necessary materials, including brochures and promotional items
  • Assist retail representatives in resolving customer inquiries
  • Act as a trainer, coach, and mentor for retail staff
  • Conduct sales events in retail locations to showcase products
  • Motivate retail teams to achieve company and program goals
  • Meet and exceed sales targets established by DSI
  • Stay informed on all sales processes, products, services, and promotions
  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with store managers
  • Gather market intelligence and competitive insights
  • Serve as the main point of contact for communications with retail leadership
  • Ensure merchandising standards are met and promotional materials are displayed
  • Coordinate program logistics with DSI and the telecommunications provider
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure project success

Additional Duties

  • Comply with supplier policies and procedures
  • Sign in and out at each visit as per retailer standards
  • Serve as a role model within and outside the organization
  • Maintain a positive and respectful demeanor
  • Consistently arrive on time and be prepared for your duties
  • Visit a minimum of five stores daily to coach and mentor retail representatives
  • Manage expenses effectively to stay within budget
  • Complete various administrative tasks and other assigned duties promptly

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience in the retail sector; wireless experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to convey and train key brand messaging and product knowledge engagingly
  • Open to receiving guidance and coaching on evolving program specifications
  • Must be able to travel within a designated area with strong time management skills
  • Possess a clean driving record and provide proof of automobile insurance
  • A competitive spirit to drive achievement of goals
  • Flexible schedule availability
