DSI Systems Inc. is seeking a dedicated Field Sales Representative to be the representative for AT&T in the National Retail sector. In this role, you will provide essential training, coaching, mentoring, merchandising, and sales support within your designated area. You will become the go-to expert for all field-related inquiries concerning AT&T Wireless and AT&T Internet.

To support AT&T's growth, effective communication that conveys our value is crucial. The ideal candidate will quickly adapt to our dynamic environment, mastering AT&T products and our mission. We expect you to build strong relationships and drive sales growth within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly visit assigned retail locations within your territory.
  • Train retail associates on AT&T products and services.
  • Provide guidance on effective sales techniques.
  • Engage in side-by-side selling with retail partners.
  • Disseminate up-to-date information regarding AT&T promotions and special offers.
  • Deliver marketing materials, dummy devices, and necessary documentation as required.
  • Assist retail representatives in resolving customer inquiries.
  • Serve as a trainer, coach, and mentor to retail representatives.
  • Conduct sales events at retail locations to showcase products and boost sales.
  • Encourage and motivate retailers to meet company and program objectives.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets set by DSI.
  • Stay informed about all sales processes, products, services, promotions, and company policies.
  • Develop and sustain relationships to establish credibility and trust with store managers.
  • Gather market intelligence and competitive insights.
  • Act as the primary contact for daily communications with AT&T and retail leadership teams during visits.
  • Ensure merchandising standards are met and promotional materials are displayed appropriately.
  • Coordinate all program logistics in collaboration with DSI and AT&T.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration with colleagues to ensure project success.

Additional Duties

  • Adhere to supplier policies and procedures.
  • Sign in and out at each visit according to retailer standards.
  • Act as a role model both within and outside the organization.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful demeanor.
  • Consistently arrive at work on time and be prepared to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Visit a minimum of five stores daily to coach, train, and mentor retail representatives.
  • Manage expenses effectively to stay within budget.
  • Complete various administrative tasks and other assigned duties in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience in the retail industry; wireless experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to retain, articulate, and train key brand messaging and product information engagingly.
  • Receptive to guidance and coaching on evolving program specifications and brand initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel within a designated sub-market, demonstrating strong time management skills.
  • Must possess a clean driving record and provide proof of automobile insurance.
