Role Overview: The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for fostering and maintaining professional relationships with clients in the Residential Construction sector. This role involves facilitating the efficient delivery of building materials to job sites while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize and promote the PARR Bridge Strategy effectively.
  • Set and strive to exceed personal sales and profit objectives.
  • Deepen customer relationships and manage timely shipments of materials to ensure profitability and loyalty.
  • Communicate with dispatch to avoid overpromising delivery timelines.
  • Maintain accurate customer profiles in CRM systems.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
  • Follow best practices in order entry and delivery setups.
  • Assist customers in-store by guiding them to products and introducing oneself.
  • Manage open orders to ensure timely invoicing.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members and participate in meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive business information.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Knowledge of building materials and experience in the construction industry is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.

This position requires a proactive approach to customer needs and a commitment to excellence in service delivery.
