OVERVIEW:
Drive and secure Truss Sales with both new and established clients to enhance organizational profitability. This role offers a "PAY FOR PERFORMANCE" structure with limitless earning potential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Attract, promote, and establish new client accounts.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate products.
- Provide support to existing clients with tailored products, timely information, and services.
- Guide customers in choosing the best products for their specific needs.
- Prepare, coordinate, and communicate pricing, sales terms, delivery schedules, and service commitments to clients and contractors.
- Estimate materials based on blueprints provided by clients or contractors.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
- Aid in the collection of accounts receivable.
- Participate in training sessions as required.
- Carry out other assigned duties and responsibilities as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Truss sales specialists must:
- Successfully complete a drug, alcohol, background screening, and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Interpret various forms of instructions, including written, oral, diagrams, and schedules.
- Perform calculations involving figures and amounts (e.g., discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc.).
- Proficiently use Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Learn and effectively utilize company-specific software.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Truss sales specialists:
- Operate in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Occasionally lift or move objects weighing up to 100 pounds, and may need to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Regularly engage in sitting, using hands, reaching with arms, talking, and listening.
