About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Semiconductor Reliability Engineer to join our Advanced Microelectronic Solutions Department (AMSD) at Raytheon in Andover, MA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end reliability tasks, including planning, design, testing, analysis, and reporting.
  • Interact frequently with a team of process engineers, technology owners, and project leads.
  • Develop and execute reliability test plans for semiconductor devices under accelerated stress conditions.
  • Perform data analysis and reliability modeling using statistical analysis software tools.
  • Lead reliability efforts to support wafer foundry's new technology development, new tool qualification, and reliability-oriented design rule verification and development.
  • Initiate and report failure analysis of components from reliability testing.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 8 years' of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' of prior work experience.
  • Reliability testing and characterization experience in the semiconductor field.
  • Experience in the design and execution of reliability test plans for semiconductor devices.
  • Experience with data analysis and reliability modeling.
  • Experience with applied statistics in the reliability field.
  • Experience with statistical analysis software tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in STEM or statistics.
  • Solid state device physics experience.
  • Semiconductor wafer fab processing experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Failure analysis experience with SEM, FIB, STEM, etc.
  • Experience in the RF field.
  • Experience with lab tools such as probe stations, curve tracers, Keithly/Agilent equipment.
  • Experience with programming/scripting.
  • Experience with related industry standards such as JEDEC, MIL.
