About the Role

The Executive Director of Network Partnerships will play a vital role in driving business growth and improving client outcomes at Wayspring. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Market Operations, this individual will be responsible for developing and implementing provider engagement, contracting, and partnership strategies to drive positive outcomes for health plan client groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provider Engagement and Contracting: Partner with internal teams to shape contracting strategies that incentivize improved outcomes and develop targeting criteria to guide provider strategies based on analytical insights, clinical inputs, and performance data.
  • Alternative Payment Models: Construct alternative payment models that adhere to care standards and partner with clinical leadership to understand industry best practices.
  • Performance Measurement and Monitoring: Partner with analytical and actuarial teams to measure and monitor provider performance within alternative payment models.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as a liaison between Wayspring clients and internal business units, providing strategic guidance and support to drive client growth and contract retention.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Partner with matrixed delivery teams to develop solutions and adjust target areas of focus for performance management, while fostering client growth and contract retention.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of five (5) years' experience in related client-facing consultative roles, ideally within a health plan provider organization.
  • Ideal candidate would have previously held responsibility for aspects of Network Management, Network Contracting, Network Performance, Provider Experience, and Provider Engagement.
  • Strong understanding and direct experience in value-based provider contracting, data analytics, and clinical and operational performance data interpretation.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to create strong partnerships with clients.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including occasional in-person presence for client meetings and corporate office visits.
