Job Title: Provider Network Management Director

At Elevance Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Provider Network Management Director to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and managing our provider network through contract negotiations, relationship development, and servicing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to build and maintain a strong provider network
  • Negotiate contracts with healthcare providers to ensure favorable terms and rates
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and other industry partners
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our network providers and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, healthcare administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in contracting, provider relations, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in contract negotiations and relationship development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using financial models and analysis to negotiate rates with providers
  • Provider network build experience, with a demonstrated ability to implement recruiting plans and network adequacy
  • Commercial line of business contracting experience, with knowledge of the Tennessee provider landscape
